For this project, I worked closely with The Valla Group to identify the primary challenges sales teams faced in the early stages of the sales cycle. We identified key opportunities where sales reps could use data more effectively to drive meaningful client conversations. This allowed me to design a guide that simplifies the research process, turning it into a powerful, actionable tool for identifying client needs, market trends, and potential risks. The concept was developed with a focus on making the guide easy to navigate, ensuring that sales professionals could quickly gather relevant information and apply it in their daily workflow.
My role involved designing this job aid as a companion to the eLearning course, where learners were tasked with conducting real-time research. The guide was developed to streamline the research process, providing clear steps and practical examples that aligned with the course objectives. By simplifying the research process, the job aid enabled learners to apply data-driven insights in their sales efforts more effectively.
The result was an instructional tool that not only supported the learning objectives but also gave sales professionals a hands-on resource they could use in the field.
