Concept Development & Storyboarding
Concept Development & Storyboarding
For this workplace safety eLearning course, I was given complete creative freedom to storyboard and design the content around slips, trips, and falls. The course emphasized hazard identification, and I developed an interactive element where learners could identify workplace hazards by clicking on the screen. This "collect the hazards" interaction was praised by the client as some of the best work they've seen in their career, offering an engaging and memorable way for learners to understand safety risks in real-world settings.

Technical Expertise & Tools Mastery
Technical Expertise & Tools Mastery
I used Adobe After Effects and Storyline 360 to create dynamic, interactive animations that immersed learners in the training. The final interaction, where users identify and collect hazards from the screen, was built using a combination of JavaScript for interactivity and custom animations. Each hazard was carefully designed to be realistic and relatable, ensuring the learners could directly apply these safety skills in their workplace.

Engaging Learning & Visual Design
Engaging Learning & Visual Design
The course was designed with a high level of interactivity and real-world application. The animated screens showcased workplace environments, and the hazard identification exercise was a standout feature. The intuitive design and engaging animations allowed learners to easily spot risks and collect them into their "inventory," reinforcing their understanding of the hazards in an innovative way. The visual design maintained a balance between practical application and interactive learning to ensure retention and engagement.

Results & Impact
Results & Impact
The course received high praise from the client for its interactivity and engaging content, particularly the hazard identification activity. Feedback from learners indicated a strong improvement in their ability to recognize and respond to potential workplace hazards. The course successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, providing learners with the tools they needed to improve safety in their work environments. The interactive design led to high engagement rates and retention of the material.
